Celebration for the Inauguration ceremony and dinner on the 13th November 2015 was held in Golden Palace Seafood Restaurant, Cabramatta. The Celebration event was attended by more than 500 guests.
To mark our annual change of management committee, the Indo-Chinese Elderly Hostel held this year’s inauguration ceremony and dinner on the 7th of November at the Silver Pearl Seafood Restaurant in Cabramatta.
Friends of the Hostel were welcomed by MC David La and the 10th president Mr Henry Tang. Mr Bounkong Kerr was officially inaugurated as the 11th President of the Hostel Management Committee in a hand-over ceremony with Mr Tang. The guests of honour, Councilor Frank Carbone, Mayor of Fairfield City Council and Mr. Douglas C.T. Shen, Director General of the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Sydney, stood as official witnesses of the hand-over.
Outgoing members of the 10th Management Committee were also presented with commemorative plaques as a token of gratitude for their service to the Hostel.
